Funded Hours
All families with a 3 or 4 year old are eligible for the universal offer of funded early years education of up to 15 hours a week term time or a total of 570 hours taken throughout the year.
Some children are eligible for extended funded childcare of up to 30 hours a week term time or a total of 1140 hours taken throughout the year.
Funding for two year olds is also currently available for those who meet the relevant criteria. This could be eligible working parents or two year olds funded through the Better2gether scheme. To find out if you qualify for Better2gether please click here.
For further information about whether you qualify for working parent or extended funding please visit the www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
We also accept childcare vouchers.
Tax Free Childcare
You can get up to £500 every 3 months (£2000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare.
If you get Tax-Free Childcare, the Government will pay £2.00 for every £8.00 you pay your childcare provider. This is paid via an online childcare account that you set up for your child.
You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as the 15 or 30 hours free childcare if you are eligible for both.
You will be unable to get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as claiming Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Universal Credit or childcare vouchers.
